In so many ways, it is liberating to write this post. I’ve been wanting to write it for about a year, but every time I would start, things would get bad again, and I would start to feel like a fraud. But, I told a close friend this morning that it’s time. I’m finally here. I’m finally at a place where I can authentically and transparently tell this part of my story. It’s freeing, and also a little scary. It’s scary to expose a previous truth that I lived for so many years, but it’s something I feel ready to do. I have this need to be honest with you.
