Watching for Wales…

On our journey to London from Dublin, and we first took a ferry to Wales 🏴󠁧󠁒󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 y’all may not know this about me… but I’m really funny πŸ˜‚ and my puns have been OUT OF CONTROL today! Maybe it’s all the Wales Watching πŸ˜‚πŸ€£πŸ˜…

Oh man… so the trip is going wonderfully. We had a small hiccup this morning do to a missing set of car keys, but it all worked out in the end!

Ryan and I went for a morning walk and found an awesome local brunch spot.

The cappuccino was simply amazing… I got a second for the road!

The eggs benny was delightful! Honestly, I have no idea how they got them so fluffy…

Check out the back patio! How perfect would this be for a small party?!

On the way to brunch, we just so happened upon a gorgeous cemetery. Y’all… some of the graves dates back over 500 years. It was incredible to walk through…

What was left of the church remained intact, inside, there were additional graves. I thought that was so beautiful and such a unique way to preserve so much history in one place.

Before heading to our next stop, we spent as much time as possible in the beautiful castle we stayed at in Dublin. Castle Clontarf was truly the most unique “hotel” experience I’ve had thus far!

This was the view from our room. I’m sitting IN the window?!!? So crazy. Honestly have major Princess vibes here haha

Ryan and I love a good mirror selfie, and the mirrors in this place were amaaaaaze…

Then we headed to the port to catch a ferry over to Wales, and I’ll spare you some of the details… but we made it there in record time, I’m sure! πŸ˜‚ We just missed our reservation, but the company quickly rebooked us, and we were on our way!

A little wind blown here haha but honestly just so grateful to be hopping over to London!

Okay, this was about the time the pins started rolling in…

Literally, no whales to be found πŸ˜‚

But I did find this stud muffin πŸ˜‰

And my sis in law snapped this cute pic…

And we took our signature photo!

Thanks for hanging in there guys! Not one of my usually posts, but just a small piece of our journey. We are having a great time! I feel so blessed to be able to travel to so many cool places. It’s truly my favorite thing to do. My grandma used to say I was born with a suitcase in hand, and I can totally see that!

If you have any questions about the trip or deets on some of the guides and companies we’ve used for bookings, drop a comment! Also, if you want some real-time vids and pics from the trip, see my insta story! @lindsayknoxmcvety
