Toronto Eats: George Street Diner

Ya’ll, at about 2:30pm today, the Hubs and I decided it was time to get out of the house and get some breakfast….lunch… ehhhh brunch. Yep, we were getting brunch.

We’ve been trying to explore the Toronto restaurant scene recently, and we came across George Street Diner. It was amazing. Everything tasted like it was made with love in granny’s kitchen. Seriously, even the bread was homemade. And the jams!!! Don’t let me forget the jams…. homemade and definitely with love!

The food was obviously the reason we came, but the service is why we stayed. I could have talked to the server (maybe also the manager, not sure) for hours. She was dripping with hospitality and charm! The whole vibe was so light and sweet. They’ve been there since 1971, and they are definitely doing something right!

If you’re ever in the GTA, be sure to check them out!
