Winter Beauty Essentials

Hello, beautifully and wonderfully made people!! We hope everyone is have a fantastic day so far. It may have been a chilly one for some of you, and that’s why these Winter Beauty Essentials are just for you! Cold weather brings for beautiful winter wonderland photos and cozy fireplace coffee dates, but it also brings along dry skin, chapped lips, and if you’re really special, windburned cheeks…

These are some of our favorite products, especially during the Winter season. In fact, we consider some of these products to be winter exclusive. As the seasons change, the weather and moisture levels in the air can also change which means our beauty regimens may need to be slightly altered to accommodate these changes.

Winter Beauty Essentials

L’Occitane’s Shea Butter Ultra Rich Body Cream
Ya’ll this stuff gives me life! I’m not kidding… This body cream will heal and sooth your dry skin like you’ve never experienced before. Put it everywhere!

L’Occitane’s Shea Butter Hand Cream
I know it seems crazy to spend $28 on hand cream, but ya’ll… it’s basically the hand cream from heaven. Let me tell you, this stuff is so good that when I accidentally brought my 5.2 oz tube of L’Occitane’s Shea Butter Hand Cream through the airport (being well over the 3 oz limit), the lady in TSA put it back in my handbag and told me, “I’m not taking that from you! That’s the GOOD stuff!”

Soap & Glory’s Heal Genius
The name is SO fitting! Around here, we use it year-round to prolong our pedicures. It’s perfect for restoring the moisture to cracked heels and those precious tootsies!

Cover FX’s Calming Primer
Blogger Shelby Kiger Johnson of Hairspray The World recently shared this golden nugget with us, and it is wonderful! We recommend to change out your primers based on your skin, and this Calming Primer is perfect for these dry winter months!

Bed Head by TIGI’s After Party
We initially tried this out to tame our summer frizz, and it worked wonders. Well…. it’s not a Summer Only Essential as it gives us back the moisture in the dry winter season. It’s perfect when your hair feels dead and broken… I swear it comes alive again!

La Roche-Posay’s Cicaplast Levres Barrier Repairing Balm
You’re welcome.
The only thing we have to say about this one is to ditch your EOS, Chapstick, and whatever other lip balm you’ve been using, and switch to this. You’ll thank us if you do!

These are our favorites, and we’d love to hear about yours! Share your winter beauty secrets in the comments below! If you liked this post, be sure to let us know! Oh, and one more thing, if you want to read more from us, be sure to subscribe!
